Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is a well-known Indian actress best known for the films Beta Saajan, Hum Aapke Hain Koun. The actress was initially famous for the role she played in the 1980s film Tezaab and Tezaab, which she co-starred alongside the veteran actor Anil Koopor. Her next appearance was in Dil in which she was on screen with Aamir. A middle-class family was raised in Mumbai she began learning to dancing at a young age. As a teenager she started acting, and was a victim for a few years due to the fact that her early films failed. Her breakthrough came when she finally had success and she went on to be one of the most well-known actresses in the Indian film industry. She took a break from acting following her marriage before returning to the entertainment industry. In recent times, she was in a major role as a character in Gulaab Gang. The film focused on the struggles of women in India. Dixit was nominated for fifteen Filmfare Awards. Of these she's won eight. She was also honored with her Padma Shri the fourth highest civilian award in India. In addition, she has been recognized for her work in the social sector.
