Rosalia
Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is an Spanish flamenco and pop singer. Since she was a teenager the singer has been involved in popular music and flamenco. Her music also strays into other music genres such as hip-hop soul and Trap. The flamenco guitar player Pepe habichuela describes her voice as sweet and sharp, however she still featuring the sharpness of veteran singers. Her debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned the singer an Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist her 2018 follow-up El Mal Querer was a significant commercial and critical success that topped Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart and eventually earning an Grammy. The hit single La Fama featuring the Weeknd appeared in 2021. Motomami, her third album was a collaboration with songwriting partners Cory Henry, James Blake and other performers. It came out on the 20th of March, 2022 in the wake of the live performance of Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia performed solo in her first solo performance Saturday Night Live. Motomami is her album, which was awarded the three Latin Grammy Awards also made her the first female to win an award for Latin Album of the Year be awarded twice.
